Technical Client Services/Account Manager

The hottest trend in online marketing is website personalization and interaction optimization. [x+1], the leading provider of software and services in this space, is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join the Client Solutions team. [x+1] boasts an incredibly talented, dedicated, and motivated team who is out to win and make the impossible a reality for our clients.

The Client Solutions Organization (CSO) is a strategic client-facing group at [x+1] that develops solutions for and builds enduring relationships with [x+1]'s largest and most important clients. Highly skilled, talented, flexible and multi-faceted CSO team members address the technology challenges and needs of our clients have in order to drive distinctive partnership value. Collaborating closely with our clients, we work with Product Managers, Sales, Engineering and Clients at all stages of the product lifecycle - enabling us to take ideas and transform them into new, industry shaping technologies that we can then take to market.

Summary:

The Technical Account Manager must have a demonstrated ability to work independently with clients, building strong relationships through a solid technical understanding of customer specific requirements and delivering solutions that drive real business impact. Applicant must be able to "translate" requirements from client to internal Engineering team. Candidates applying for this position must have a strong client relationship management background in the travel, ecommerce and/or financial services industry with an emphasis on online marketing or website development.

  • Monitor client profitability, quality of services and documentation on scope of services.

  • Become a sought out industry expert in online marketing and ecommerce and consult with clients on how to plan, develop, execute and analyze marketing programs across on-line channels (e.g., website, search, e-mail) to attain business goals and drive future strategy.
  • Build company exposure across the client through presentations and communication of cool technology.
  • Heavily influence the product roadmap with your ideas and strategies for growth.
  • Work with great (and really really smart) people.
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience with web development or web site integration.
  • Understanding of java script; experience with web integration technologies.
  • Experience or interest in the following : Flash/Flex/AIR.
  • Experience in Database management or design (Oracle).
  • Experience writing/modifying HTML/XML.
  • Knowledge of online. marketing/personalization/interaction optimization and associated technologies is critical.

  • High level of comfort in deadline driven environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to produce client facing documentation with ease. (Visio, Powerpoint, MS Office)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships inside and outside of an organization.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required (20-50%).
  • An eagerness to learn and have fun doing it.
