The chart above shows the typical media yield curve of a campaign. The number of media that was used to generate a given percentage of responses is plotted on the horizontal axis. The percentage of total responses delivered from a given number of media is plotted on the vertical axis. Because viewers respond differently, the media yield curve is convex. In this example, 90% of the campaign responses are captured with about 40% of the media. The remaining 60% of spending yields only 10% more. media+1 generates greater response with less waste.
